ilovephoto.in is a free, private, instant photo converter built specifically for Indian citizens who need correctly formatted photos for government forms and official documents.
Our Mission
Applying for government documents in India often requires photos with very specific dimensions, DPI, file formats, and size limits. Many online tools upload your photos to remote servers, compromising your privacy, or charge money for basic features.
We built ilovephoto.in to solve both problems: it works entirely in your browser (nothing is uploaded anywhere), and it is completely free. Our goal is to make the process of formatting government form photos as simple and private as possible.
How It Works
All photo processing happens client-side using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you upload a photo or capture one from your camera, the data stays on your device. The tool reads the pixels, applies transformations (resize, crop, rotate, adjust colours), and generates the output — all within the browser's memory.
This means:
- Your photo never reaches any server
- No data is stored or logged
- You can use the tool even without an internet connection (after the page loads)
- No account or signup required
Supported Documents
Our presets cover all major Indian government documents including PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID (EPIC), Driving Licence, Aadhar Card, OCI Card, NTA Exams (NEET/JEE/GATE), UPSC, CAT, and international visas including US, UK, Schengen, and India e-Visa. You can also create custom presets for any other document.
Privacy Commitment
We believe privacy is a fundamental right. ilovephoto.in does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or images. We use no third-party analytics that track individual users. The only external services we use are Google Fonts (for typography).
